Worcester, MA Greater Worcester leadership and community members joined Table Talk Pies president and owner Harry Kokkinis recently to celebrate the opening of Table Talk Pies’ new 50,000 s/f manufacturing facility.

Table Talk Pies, Inc. known for its signature 4-inch snack pies is expanding with the opening of a new manufacturing facility in the South Worcester Industrial Park (SWIP), which has been vacant for 20 years. The new impressive facility will allow the company to increases production capacity to create over 4 million 4-inch pies per week and will add over 50 jobs to its current 300 full-time and seasonal staff.  Founded in 1924 by two Greek immigrants, the business has become one of the country’s leading pie companies with products sold in hundreds of supermarkets throughout the country. Since its start, the Worcester homegrown company has held a firm commitment to producing the highest quality pies while serving its local neighborhood.

Charlie Baker announces aim for second term

Gov. Charlie Baker will seek a second four-year term in 2018, the moderate Republican announced yesterday without fanfare.

“We’ve accomplished a lot together, but there’s more work to do: That’s why I’m running for re-election as your Governor,” Baker wrote in a message posted to Twitter, along with a link to his official campaign website.
